ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The SAP Basis Security Analyst is responsible for overseeing Basis security
administration activities including -
Create SAP roles in the Development, Test, and Training environments
Fixing issues identified with SAP roles
Troubleshooting user access issues in Development, Testing and
Training environments
Supporting SAP Basis environment build and administration activities
for Development, Test and Training environments
Configuration of SAP Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC)
Participating in team meetings
Identifying and documenting issues and risks as needed
Submitting weekly status reports
In support of this initiative, USDA selected Accenture to implement mySAP
ERP 2005 suite of applications, including SAP Enterprise Portal, SAP Web
Application Server, SAP Business Intelligence (BI) and SAP Process
Integration (PI). SAP modules include Financials (FI), Controlling (CO),
Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and FM (Funds
Management).
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
USDA must improve its financial performance to serve citizens, business
partners, and employees more efficiently and effectively. Through the
Financial Management Modernization Initiative (FMMI), USDA will replace
legacy mainframe systems with an advanced, Web-based core financial
management system that complies with Federal accounting and systems
standards.*
