*Position overview:*
As a Sr. member of the security engineering organization, this individual
will assist in creating and managing a World-class portfolio of security
technologies - protecting company assets, associates and brand. The
successful candidate will lead the efforts in analyzing threats, database
and system issues, threat intelligence, security modeling, technical
assessments, forensics and fraud analysis.
*Roles and Responsibilities:*
? Responsible for designing, developing and recommending integrated security
system solutions that will ensure proprietary/confidential data and systems
are protected.
? Collaborate with client, and other technical engineers to translate
security and business requirements into technical designs.
? Conduct security risk analysis of business and technology projects.
Communicate areas of risk, propose mitigation plans or risk acceptance
criteria to Information Security Management.
? Participate as needed in documenting technical security standards,
guidelines, and procedures required to reinforce information security
policies.
? Apply security engineering principles related to building, maintaining,
and monitoring secure infrastructure using various technolgoies including
firewalls, networking products, VPN, intrusion detection, access control
products, anti-virus, and security operating system or application tools and
protocols.
? Maintain technical proficiency in information security concepts and
evaluate new security and systems technologies and proposes new and
innovative solutions to information security management.
? Mentor Junior Members of the Information Security Team
? Perform other duties as assigned
*Required Skills:*
? Experience working with IP networking, networking protocols and
understanding of security related technologies including encryption, IPsec,
PKI, VPNs, firewalls, proxy services, DNS, electronic mail and access-lists
? Experience working with internet, web, application and network security
techniques
? Experience working with relevant operating system security (Windows,
Solaris, Linux, etc.)
? Experience working with leading firewall, network scanning and intrusion
detection products and authentication technologies.
? Experience working with leading database with ability to perform basic
database queries (Oracle et al.)
? Possess security certifications (CISSP, ISSAP, CCNA, etc) and/or top
secret security clearance
? Ability to work on multiple projects and efforts with limited supervision
*# of Years Required*: ? Minimum 7 years experience in network, host, data
and/or application security in multiple operating system environments
