My apologies to anyone who is attempting to help me
with my Exchange Problem. Our dial-up service was cut
today...Dave's World and our T-1 doesn't arrive until
tomorrow or Thursday. I am dialing in from home for
now but have a hard time accepting advice here and
then remembering by the time I get to school---my
printer is dead. I will attempt to rectify the
problem once I am online, but found today that both of
my DHCP servers WERE running again and think that
might have been my problem. What was happening was I
would set an Outlook account to look to a particular
server and it kept resetting to the other Exchange
server (I have two, one for each building). The
problem was, I didn't have that server up, I was
attempting to transport it to the other site. What I
was finding, was that if I shut down ExcahngeServer1
(for the high school), I couldn't get Outlook
torecognize ExchangeServer2, which is the Grade School
server. I attempted to specify ExchangeServer2, but
it would not recognize. What I don't understand is
that both of the Exchange Servers are set up
identical. I don't know, it blows my mind, but then,
at this point in time (beginning of the new school
year) my mind was already gone. Have a great day, I
know I will...my T-1 comes in tomorrow---:-)
