I've had this same problem. It's most critical when SYSOP logs out of a machine. We
use a different color on the desktop for each user type. Some students see a red
screen & will then esc past the login. They can't access anything on the server, but
sysop's policies are in affect for the local machine, i.e. change desktop settings,
run regedit, etc.

I came up w/ this solution this morning. It's a kludge, but it works. It would
really be nice if the policy were applied from within ZENworks so you wouldn't need
this workaround.

1. Make sure your computer is set to NOT VALIDATE by doing either:
  a. run Poledit - open registry - Local Computer - Logon - check OFF Require
validation ...
  b. run regedit - make sure HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Network/Login/MustBeValidated is set
to 0 (zero)
2. Start SNAPshot
3. Now turn validation on
    a. Poledit - check ON Require validation ...
    b. Regedit - set to 1
4. Finish w/ SNAPshot & create an application
5. Edit the registry settings on the App to only include the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Network/Login/MustBeValidated setting
6. Associate with everyone
7. Set to run during login (adds about a half-second to the login process) - noticable
to only the most discriminating of users (i.e. pains in the ...)
8. Verify
