The Application Review Board is seeking new members to fill the places of departing members. This has become more urgent recently, as the ARB had more app submissions in the first week after the launch of developer.ubuntu.com than in the year since the team was created.
Since we haven't added any new members since the beginning, the procedures haven't really been defined. We've drafted a process, based on the CC's guidelines for restaffing teams: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/AppReviewBoard/Restaffing We'd appreciate feedback from the TB on whether this process seems appropriate, and reflects the TB's intentions in creating the ARB. (I've also copied the CC, for comments on how well this fits with the usual community processes for restaffing.) We'd like to have the new members together in time for UDS, so we're looking to settle on the process this week, and bring the list of nominees to the next TB meeting on October 20th. Daniel Holbach has been helping us find potential nominees, and has 3 confirmed applicants, who will be filling out their wiki information pages. I'll listen in on today's TB meeting, in case you have any questions. Thanks, Allison -- technical-board mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/technical-board
