I've sponsored a virtualbox update from Gianfranco before and the process was smooth and successful. I think virtualbox is an ideal candidate for MRE status, as some bugs are beyond what a maintainer could be expected to do, and targetted fixes for those issues would bring our packages further from what the upstream virtualbox team tests. I think allowing Gianfranco to perform MREs will improve the user experience of virtualbox and improve our overall security. Thanks
