Wayland is relatively new technology for Ubuntu and there are issues of
running graphical applications with elevated privileges using sudo / gksu
etc.

This has resulted in frustration and at times heated debate in the
community.

I would ask the TB to review wayland and policies and give a statement of
clarification to be used by developers and end users as clarification of
how graphical secuity / polkit etc is to be managed as we migrate to
wayland.

There are at times heated discussions regarding wayland, graphical
applications, and sudo / xhost and some sort of statement or policy review
from the TB would add clarity to the conversation, a roadmap for
developers, and understanding on Wayland and the migration process to end
users.

Thank you for your consideration.
