Hello Technical Board members,
I hope you all had a wonderful time during the holidays. I am working on regular flavour sync meetings, to promote dialog and collaboration within the Ubuntu ecosystem. I thought to let you know about this initiative, and extend an invitation to participate if this is something interesting for the Technical Board. The plan is to have 3 meetings every release cycle, so we can all be in sync and discuss upcoming changes, requests, issues and challenges as the release moves forward. We are targeting the second Monday of January, March, May, July, September, November. November meetings are likely to happen in-person at the Ubuntu Summit each year. Due to winter holidays and short notice, we decided to run our first meeting in the last week of January. I already confirmed that the date below works well for Canonical Community, Release, Foundations, and Desktop teams. Some flavours already confirmed their availability, and I am working to follow up with remaining flavours. Please review the below details and schedule and email me names and email addresses of those that are interested to join. Please specify which session you would like to attend. Details and schedule: - We are planning to host the same meeting twice to accommodate for time zones and work duties. It is not needed to join both sessions. - Meetings will be on Google Meet and we can send meeting invites to email addresses provided by your team. - Meeting notes will be shared on google docs. All participants are encouraged to leave notes at least one week before the meeting, so that we can review and provide good support. For those that do not have or do not want to use google accounts, please get back to me and we will find a suitable solution. - Meeting report highlights will be posted on discourse. - Meetings will not be streamed, but open to any flavour, downstream, respin, or contributor that wants to join. *Date: Monday, 30th January 2023* *Session 1: 3PM UTC* U.S.A.
