What I meant by that comment was. It could have to do with the care you handle it with, dropping, bumping, or flinging it around on there desk. Or how big or small the files you are writing to the drive. JMO, I've been using these WD drives and NAS storage devices for over 6 years, when the one that I had did fale because I dropped it, they replaced it no questions asked. So if anything there customer service is great!
