I just read on a document in a local magazine here which talks about things 
like consumer services, (including the Internet), that DropBox says in the 
small print of their service agreement that everything that you put on their 
servers they automatically assume ownership of the rights to. They are advising 
consumers not to put items which contain highly personal data on their services 
because even after you have deleted them, they still retain copies.

Drop Box apparently claim that even their own employees can't see the content 
of files. But according to this article, that isn't strictly true. that isn't 
absolutely true. I can't deny this has me concerned and I think I'm off now to 
delete all of our personal records. At least until I find a reliable way to 
encrypt them.
