Hello everybody

I just bought a USB to parallel cable for our embosser, in the hope that it
will allow us to once again emboss.

However, despite the instructions which unfortunately refer to Windows 98/2000,
when I plug the cable into our Windows 7 PC, no external port is appearing. The
instructions said that you should see the adapter as LTP2 but it's only listed
under the USB controller devices and has no matching parallel port assignment.
I also don't see a ports tab, as shown in the instructions. Any ideas? This
really is frustrating; I just can't believe they've sold me something that's
not Windows 7 compatible. I'm no technical expert, and I did specifically ask
if it would work with Windows 7, and was told "Oh yes, no problem". Well maybe
it will; I'm just not sure how.

Constructive suggestions gratefully received.

Lynne
