Lol I love that at the end well I got the latest Thunderbird via a Ninite installer generated at www.ninite.com/thunderbird. Ninite is a Windows and Linux only service where you can generate installers that quietly and installs and even updates applications you specified on the website and says no to toolbars or other forms of junk.
