Hi folks! Just renewed my "Sendspace Pro" account and I notice that the parameters of the account have changed dramatically!
For $19.95 a month I get unlimited storage, 300GB of band width per month and a maximum of 10GB file size per upload, quite a welcome change from what $19.95 bought me last month in the form of a Sendspace Pro account, 50GB sotrage, 100GB band width and 1.5GB file size per upload, Sendspace must be feeling the pinch thanks to services such as Dropbox and the like. Why do I bother with Sendspace Pro when I already have Dropbox? Because Sendspace offers a whole heap of facilities and features that Dropbox does not and both do different things. Dropbox is nice for syncing items, whereas Sendspace probably wouldn't be too good for that. Sendspace now has possibilities for backing up large amounts of data in the Cloud whereas the most space you can buy with Dropbox to my knowledge is 100GB and then you have to make space available for Dropbox and its contents on every computer you use it on, Sendspace is just in the Cloud ready to be called into service when required.
