Glad you are enjoying your new purchase. Have you got voice prompts enables?
That might have to be set by your audiologist too, its quite useful actually.

It is talking to me, yes. For instance when the device which is active changes,
it announces the name of the device. Is that what you mean? The remote
control features don't seem to work unless I'm doing something wrong. I can
adjust the volume of the ComPilot, but not the hearing instrument. Nor can I
change programmes. So I think I'm going to have to go and get him to enable
that.

One thing I've noticed is that the BlueTooth range of the ComPilot, in
comparison with the iCom, is poor. The audio output is better but they seem to
have sacrificed range.

Also, I am experiencing a lot of situations where the device is switching to my
iPhone at random. It's quite odd, but there it is. I think there is some
tweaking required to be honest and, of course, the suppliers say that if Phonak
releases any firmware updates you have to send the device to them to have the
update implemented or maybe see your audiologist. The disadvantage with the
latter option is that you wave bye bye to your warrantee.

You are right, the sound quality is better than the iCom and basically includes
almost everything I kept pestering Phonak about.

Sorry to hear your still in pain fella, I always thought where there was no
sense there was no feeling? ;)
