Subject: Jingles & VoiceOvers

Hi all

This one isn't all about technology itself, apart from the fact that I am
very proud to be able to say that my local hospital radio service has now
adopted yours truly, under the alias of "Robbie Gordon", the on-air name I
have used for a lot of years. I'm now a part of the team, in all but name.
We just have to dot the "I's" and cross the "T's". So, it is time for me to
start seriously looking at the best way I can broadcast either using Mac OS
X, (DJay for Mac is a very attractive proposition in a lot of ways), or else
using one of:
Station Playlist Creator for Windows, or OTS AV DJ Pro Classic for Windows.
I currently have a license for both DJayR Mac, and also for OTS AV DJ Pro
Classic. If the software warrants it, I would be prepared to license one of
the flavours of Station Playlist Creator or whatever it is called now. One
thing I have licensed just ahead of its release is SaM Broadcaster 2013. It
may just be that this application offers the best solution. So I welcome
any input regarding these suites, as well as possibly others which I am not
aware of. I need to be able- to use the software seamlessly by next
Wednesday, so the race is on, so to speak.

Now, for the related though not quite so technical part of this post.
Although I am hoping that the reader I'm looking for might just be reading
this now, be their nationality English, Australian, American or anything
else. I do need quality production though, wherever the provider comes
from. So, here goes.

Does anybody happen to provide, or know of any talent who would be willing
to make up a small number of jingles and or VoiceOvers for use in hospital
radio broadcasting? In fact, if anybody on list would be interested in
having a shot at this, for the benefit, not of me, (although I would be
doing the broadcasting), but of the patients and staff who listen to the
service which spans across two hospitals here in the North-East of England.

If there is anybody out there who could help me, I would consider it a
personal favour, and you'd be doing the patients and staff of the hospital a
favour. In the case of somebody who can produce quality material, I would
be willing to pay for their time and services. Although I couldn't pay a
huge amount of money I would be willing to negotiate. Feel free to contact
me off list if you either can help, or you know of somebody who can help.

Thank you.
