Hi all

OK, the first episode of Sparkle Radio's technology show which, perhaps
appropriately, I have decided to name "Techno Chat", is now ready to go to air.
Once again, we would like to extend our thanks to Chris Hallsworth for his
Windows 8 demonstration for this premier episode of the show. I also, for what
she tells me will be the first and last time, succeeded in twisting Lynne's arm
into joining me on the show in order to do the first interview. I, ob this
occasion, became the interviewee, whilst Lynne posed the questions which, again
somewhat appropriately, leads me to my next point.

I am now seeking volunteers in an effort to secure interviews, discussions and
demonstrations for future episodes of the programme. If you think you may have
something to offer, or if you'd be interested in participating in any way at
all, please feel free to contact me off list. I'd be most happy to discuss
your ideas with you. This project is, I hope, aims towards the community as a
whole and I would very much appreciate the community getting involved. I
cannot do all of the work alone, and that goes for the other aspects of the
station as well. if you'd fancy having a shot at radio, whatever your
preferred genre, we'd love to hear from you. Broadcasting can be fun,
challenging and rewarding as well, and we'd love to b the rewarders. :)

Finally, if there's anybody who is interested in any aspect of this show, would
you mind please passing on the word to others who may not be members of this
group. How you do that is down to your own discretion, I have no wish to
contravene the policies of any other E-Mail group, so please stick to their
guidelines. Also, please accept my personal thanks for any effort you might
mak on our behalf. Oh yes, one more thing. I'm interested to hear what time
of day people would prefer for the broadcast should they be interested in
listening. Also, should we make the show available on-demand by means of a
podcast? That can be arranged as well.

Thank you.

Gordon
