Hi

Actually if you read the manual you'd find that charging the device from a hub
is the cause of the problem. The manual states clearly and very specifically
this should not happen. You are supposed to charge them directly from the
computer. I'm not saying you are in the wrong, but as a general rule it's not
a good idea to charge anything via a USB hub because of the difference in
potential to ground which the device has.

Hi

A warning about that headset, they are not safe. They can sometimes catch on
fire. It happened to me not long after I bought it. It destroyed the USB hub
it was charging from. It's a fairly common problem with the H830 model. I
personally wouldn't use it ever again and I don't recommend it to anyone.

Subject: Just Bought Gordon a Logitech Headset

Hello everybody

I wondered whether anybody had played around with the Logitech headset
range. I just bought Gordon a Logitech H800 Bluetooth headset. he hasn't got
to play with it yet as we don't know how long it has to be on charge for.
But given that it's only an 800MA battery, Gordon says it shouldn't need to
be too long. The technical specs look good, and the fact that a lot of the
more perishable parts can be replaced, (ear pads and battery) speaks volumes
for it. So, I'll set him loose with it shortly and we will go from there.

Lynne
