lol. I don't receive any mail anymore. but you are right for those of us who receive private mail, besides junk of corse. Our school no longer does stuff on paper not even the silibus at the beginning of every semester. it would be nice as if the service we used crashes we would have a back up copy we could read with the ocr solution you speak of. I personally have not used an ocr solution since 2000 or so and that was a flat bed scanner and omni page. all of which could go in to a laptop bag I could shlep around every ware. I have seen the improvements in ocr over the years from being forced to use such technology whilst getting training and it can only get better until the print is actually ingrained in to our brains via a micro chip placed let's say in our fingers, but for now and for me personally ocr is not needed in this stage of my learning.
