That kind of price for a second-hands machine is shocking. The brand new machines retail for £3680 if I remember rightly. So whoever is selling that is having a bit of a laugh and trying to charge the brand new price.

I don't know what these machines are worth but what I do know is that a new Braille Sense machine - as discussed here - isn't all that much more in price. Of course, we're talking Australian dollars here. I had a quick look on the Humanware site but couldn't see the price of a Braillenote Apex anywhere, I have to admit that I didn't have all that much time for looking around so perhaps someone can tell me what the price of a Braillenote Apex actually is? ======================================= The Techno-Chat E-Mail forum is guaranteed malware, spyware, Trojan, virus and worm-free To modify your subscription options, please visit for forum's dedicated web pages located at http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/mailman/listinfo/techno-chat You can find an archive of all messages posted to the Techno-Chat group at either of the following websites: http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/techno-chat/index.html Or: <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]> you may also subscribe to this list via RSS.
