Thanks! It was a very nice pleasure - in the listening and writing sense of the world - to jot down that quick review but having said that I shouldn't have been surprised as all the Pure DAB/DAB+ sets I own of performed well and sound pretty good, the Sangean and Roberts are up with the Pure in some of the best DAB/DAB+ radios I've used.
I've been thinking about compiling a list of my favourite top 5 DAB/DAB+ radios? I realise such an exercise is terribly subjective but the project may be helpful for those who still haven't bought one of these radios. So I'm sure some will be asking what's the worst DAB/DAB+ radio I've ever used? 2 come to mind here, the Grundig Replay recordable and a Panasonic Micro System I have which has a DAB/DAB+ radio as part of it, the Grundig has more bugs than a mosketo net and the Panasonic is as deaf as a doorpost not to mention a right pain in the behind to get going. And there's a third radio I'd a void like the plague but at £20.00 it just proves that you get what you pay for, the Bush Cube is certainly cheap and not my cup of tea but at least it works - if you're prepared to invest some money in a battery manufacturing plant. - I have a Tivoli Pal DAB/DAB+ radio waiting for me and should have that by Christmas time. I'm very much looking forward to the arrival of this set given the experience I've had with the iPal Fm/Am offering I already have from Tivoli.
