Josh,
You would be incredibly surprised! NVDA may not, per sé, have a formal tech
support department, however, there are tons of people in the blind community
who use it, and lots who even rely on it who'd be willing to help anyone
along the way. This is partly why I setup this class which I am teaching.

Hi, yes it should work okay. Pretty sure it even has a little bit of
primitive touch support. I say primitive because it's probably not as
fleshed out as something like Jaws, but it should get the job done..
