Lynn, I have to correct you on one, and only one thing. Window eyes 8.4
doesn't fully support windows 8. It's 99.99999 percent there, but it
doesn't yet support touch screens, nor does it support any sort of Metro
apps like the windows 8 store, etc. If you know something I don't, do tell,
but I don't think it does last that I tried. Aside from that though, it
works perfectly! Also beware that in Window eyes with Internet explorer 11
on Windows 8, or 8.1, mouse navigation doesn't work correctly quite yet. So
yeah. I'd say it's 99 percent there, but there are mainly just those two
things where I see it doesn't work yet.
I'm curious, you said he had Media Center Pro. Does that work pretty well
compared to Home Premium? I've very very seriously considered upgrading, if
so.

have a machine here running 8.1 Pro Media Centre and it works fine.
For the record, Gordon has a number of accessibility solutions installed,

Jaws 15 (all updates applied).
GW Micro Window-Eyes 8.4.
Dolphin Computer Access SuperNova 13.5.5.
All of which are fully compatible with Windows 8 and 8.1.
