Hi!

The Remix Mini - as far as I know - is the world's first truly Android computer - nothing to do with a Chromebox -.

I purchased one of these a few weeks ago and today I'll be setting the computer up.

The machine is a desktop type with various input connections including 2 USB 2.0 ports, a HDMI output along with a Headphones/Line out, SD Card slot and so on.

The Remix Mini has Bluetooth 4.1 onboard and is Wi-Fi capable, the machine also sports a LAN network port.

My model has 16GB of internal storage which can be boosted using the SD card slot which will accept cards up to 128GB

RAM is 2GB

All this is powered by a quad core processor.

So how am I going to access the Remix Mini after its been set up? It is hoped that the version of Android installed on the machine will have Google Talkback - the Android Screen reader - as part of the installed Apps, if not then I should be able to download and install Google Talkback manually, run it and see what happens.

The Remix Mini works with standard USB Keyboard/Mouse though I have read that people have been using Bluetooth Keyboards and such so that will make things a little easier.

I'll let the list know how I get on.
