Hi There!

I’m far from the first person to know about the Optigrill but I’m glad someone
did tell me about it as the Grill would probably have to be one of the most
convenient small appliances I have in my kitchen, no not the best Grill I’ve
ever owned certainly but the most convenient and that says a lot.

The OptiGrill looks like a larger than average sandwich toaster except that it
does far more than toast sandwiches.

On the front of the Grill handle are a row of 10 raised bubble type buttons
which control the Grill.

Suppose you wish to Gril some sausages for your dinner, press the Power button,
then press the Sausages button and then press the Ok button to start the
program.

The Grill beeps with every button press and it will beep to alert you that the
Grill is heated and ready for you to open it and place your sausages onto the
Non-Stick plates.

The OptiGrill has a variety of sensors which measure food thickness, food
temperature and so on to ensure perfect cooking of your meat.

During the cooking cycle the Grill will beep ti indicate the cooking progress,
for example when cooking burgers the Grill beeps to indicate rare cooking, will
beep again after a while to indicate medium cooking and again after a few
minutes to indicate that cooking is well done, this final beep is a far
different tone then the rest of the progress beeps.

I did say this Grill is convenient and I’ve demonstrated that by outlining some
of the cooking procedures but one convenient feature does make the OptiGrill
shine above everything else I’ve ever owned in the grilling department, the
removable non-stick plates which make for easy cleaning. After you’ve finished
cooking leave the grill for half an hour or so to cool, remove the plates and
put them into the dish washer or hand wash in the sink.

My only real complaint about the OptiGrill is the speaker for the beeps, the
tones are not terribly loud so I suggest that if you buy an OptiGrill you make
it your first rule not to move too far away from it or at least to stay nearby
in your kitchen which is probably something anyone should do anyway if they’re
cooking or grilling.

The OptiGrill seems to be available world wide so a simple Google search should
pick it up.

I’m compiling a notes files on the Grill which I’d be more than happy to share
with others or perhaps others have their own notes which they’d like to pass
along.
