I'd have to agree with the below statements here. I think there's enough android lists already, but of course, it's up to you whether to make one or not, and see how/if it works. I also agree on the list content, it's kind of nice knowing that basically anything goes, as long as it's tech related, there's not too many places to obtain that sort of cross section of postings, and I for one would not like to see that limited just because there's another list on the same server of another topic.

Whether or not we have another list devoted to Android is up to any individual

I'm signed up to one list to do with Android already so I don't know whether
I'd sign up for another list, as I said in a previous post its all down to
trial and error so see what the market place wants in other words.

Having said all that I value the techno-chat list for one important reason and
that is for the general discussion of topics of a technical nature, Android,
Windows, Mac and the mechanics of washing machines all fall into this category
so the last thing I'd really want to see is for someone to say post a review
of a newly released Android phone only to be slapped down by a moderator
saying that this review should be posted to an android-access list.

Only my two cents worth.

I would definitely sign up to an android access mailing
list. I?m about to purchase a Samsung Galaxy S7 and could use
all the help with learning Android as I could get.

      Thanks

Hello everybody

I?m just acting on one of the little ditties, (as Lynne called them)
and I see that there?s something she was going to mention to me
until other things got in the way.

In the likeness of Mac Access, does anybody think that there would
be a use, or demand for, an ?android-access? mailing list?  Yes, I
know that there are  some groups already out there.  But that?s also
the case with Mac Access and, thankfully, we are now picking up
again following our major crash last year.  It?s taken time because
of the personal issues which I won?t speak about here.  But I?m going
to be once again unemployed for a little while, an will therefore
have more time to kill.  On that subject, I have decided to go
freelance and offer my services as a Braille transcriber and I.T
trainer.  So I hope not to be one of those unfortunate visually
impaired people who finds it impossible to gain employment because
of his or her disability or disabilities.

Anyway, thoughts on the android-access group welcome.
