A world of opinions and experiences is a great world <smile>

I had a lot of trouble with the first Android device I bought which was a
Samsung S3 back in 2013.

Yes, looking back and knowing what I know now I could have persisted and
perhaps had a pleasurable experience with that phone but I was impatient and in
any case, I knew of a Blue-Eyed groovy who really wanted the Samsung so it
seemed like a good idea for me at the time to cut my losses and keep using my
iPhone which I did until the end of 2014.

At that time I began to be made aware of other people’s experiences with
Android in particular the later Samsung devices and the cleaning up of the
“Touchwiz” launcher which seemed to be the route of much of my previous
frustrations.

I bought a Note4 and used it with content and satisfaction for just over 12
months and no, not everything was perfect but to my surprise 95% of Apps I
downloaded and tried - eventually purchasing - worked extremely well. I guess
the other help was being a member of an active, knowledgeable and thriving
Android email list community which helped one hell of a lot.

In December last year I bought a Samsung Galaxy S6 and my Android experience
using Samsung’s Voice Assist has born even mor fruit, I still have an iPhone -
there are still those times when an iPhone works better than my Samsung - but
the Samsung is my phone of choice and its the first I pick up from the table
for all sorts of reasons.

I’m always making discoveries and exploring new features I never knew about
with my Samsung whereas IOS seems pretty drab in comparison.

Anyway its not my nor anyone else job to tell you what you should and shouldn’t
use. I found the article of great interest and a good read, I don’t agree with
all the material presented within however much of what was written I found to
be very enlightening.
