Libratone Q Adapt In-Ear earbuds kisses bulky batteries goodbye

by Edwin - on September 12th, 2016
When it comes to a name like Libratone, you can be sure that there will be
plenty of devices under their brand that will deal with the audio realm, such
as portable Bluetooth speakers. This time around, however, Libratone has
revealed their latest Q Adapt In-Ear earbuds which claim to be able to do away
with the need for huge batteries through the use of Apple’s Lightning
connector, now how about that?

The Libratone Q Adapt In-Ear earbuds will arrive in a battery-free design,
where there is also active noise cancellation thrown into the mix to make it
all the more desirable. It has been designed to work exclusively with Apple’s
Lightning connector port. Sporting not just one, but up to four different
levels of noise cancellation, users are able to select just how much of the
outside world that they would want to allow into their listening experience.
This kind of flexibility means that one can opt to remain totally isolated from
the rest of the world when stuck on a bustling commuter train, or simply just
enough to remain safe and aware of surroundings as you pound the pavement for
your daily exercise routine.

Developed in Copenhagen by leading acoustic and product engineers, the Q Adapt
In-Ear earbuds will make use of the same principles as Libratone’s
award-winning line of wireless speakers, and that will include stylish design,
superior acoustic performance and adaptability. The inspired engineering and
design of the Q Adapt In-Ear allows one to personalize one’s soundspace,
resulting in safer listening regardless of the environment. Power is drawn from
Apple’s Lightning connector, which means the Q Adapt In-Ear earbuds can be
sleek and lightweight in nature, since there is no longer any more need for a
bulky battery pack.

The Q Adapt In-Ear earbuds should be arriving in the middle of this month for
$179 per pair, shipping to customers in the beginning of October.
