I bought a Avantree Leaf Low Latency Bluetooth wireless AptX Stereo USB
adapter and I'm glad to say setup is incredibly easy and this device
has some wonderful qualities about it.
The first thing you notice is the near complete absence of delay so its
a great device to use with screen Readers or voice chat software such as
Skype.
Second, the device handles the AptX protocol so enjoy those lossless
recordings from your computer on your AptX compatible bluetooth speaker
or headphones.
No drivers need to be installed for the adapter just connect to a USB
port of a Mac or Windows machine and select the device as your sound
output or redirect your software to the device as you would a sound card.
Pairing is easy enough, hold down the pair button on the adapter for 3
or so seconds and then put your bluetooth equipment into discover mode,
dongle and equipment will pair in a matter of seconds.
No, not the cheapest Bluetooth adapter around at $50 but it works well
and is easy to use so - given that - its worth every cent.
