Hi!

I lost the original eMail from Gordon on this thread so I've nothing to quote below in relation to the original discussion.

The Google Home hasn't made it to Australia as yet - even unofficially - but I'll keep my eye open and as soon as I find one then I'll purchase one - whether official or not - as I'm sure it can be made to work as the Amazon Echo does give a glitch or two.

Anyway to my question, you can use the Google home to "Cast" to devices on your network and obviously these have to be Google compatible.

For example you can tell Google Home to play audio and "Cast" it to your Google Chromecast, Samsung Galaxy S6 phone running the appropriate player App etc so I'm wondering if you're going to play about with that aspect of the Google Home? I'm about to lookup the price of a Google Chromecast, I have a very old model here which has a few flaws which I believe the newer model has overcome.
