I’m glad Gordon brought the whole subject of Chromecasting - for want of a better description - up. It would appear that manufacturers of premium speaker systems are getting in on the act. Take the very nice HD Audio unit from Sony SRS-X99B stand-along speaker system which is incredibly versatile. You can connect to the system for streaming in a whole host of ways using a Wi-Fi or wired Lan connect with Airplay, DLNA and Chromecast. If that weren’t enough the speaker can be paired with your Bluetooth device. The SRS-X99B comes with a “Not So Bad” type of price tag in comparison to the competition. The review below does suggest that some of the competition speakers such as the B&W Zeppelin air may sound slightly better however - being a B&W user - I do know that - whilst the B&W sound is superb - the B&W Zeppelin Air is not as flexible in connection and streaming options as the SRS-X99B, something to consider. Anyway read the review at ********** <http://www.trustedreviews.com/sony-srs-x99-review#> <http://www.trustedreviews.com/sony-srs-x99-review#> Those of a positive and enquiring frame of mind will leave the rest of the halfwits in this world behind.
