I received what I consider to be one of the most practical ideas for
providing items with power.
I'm sure a lot of us can say that we own quite a few devices that run on
USB power whether those devices be mobile phones, speakers or
miscellaneous devices such as Amazon Echo Dots/Taps, Google Chromecast
devices etc.
The problem I was finding was that I just didn't have enough USB power
supply's to power all these devices and - even supposing I did - wall
outlets here are at a premium at any given time.
I came across a "USB Power Hub" on eBay, this little beauty is a square
box with a universal AC Mains power input ad the back and 8 USB sockets
on the front.
Each port provides 2.4A of current which should be more than enough to
charge the hungriest of USB devices at a good charging level.
In total the Hub can provide 60 Watts of power.
All the USB ports are monitored for high temperature and have
protections circuits to prevent any overloading.
