I was very excited to hear about the launch of the KNFB Reader App for
Windows so KNFB Reader is now nearly a truly cross-platform OCR system
given the App is available for IOS, Android and now Windows 10.
I was able to contact one of the people responsible for the KNFB Reader
and I asked about a possible version for Mac OS?
Unfortunately there are no plans for such a thing which is rather odd
given that most Mac machines available today have built-in cameras which
would make them very useable with such an App as KNFB Reader.
However the people who develop this App know their market so they
obviously know what would be used and what wouldn't be.
I love the App and now use it on both my IOS and Android devices, I'll
soon be using KNFB Reader on my Windows 10 Desktop, no matter what
device you have so long as it runs Windows 10 then KNFB Reader should work.
