Loads of times with multiple devices. I actually found pairing buetooth keyboards on a Mac a nightmare before finally switching to wired USB. As you say time out is always too quick. By the time your screenreader has read the code out to you then time out is almost on you. I either use sighted help or on occasions I have been quick enough but only when the keyboard is properly prepared with the small loc dot keyboard dots which can sometimes help me get to at least the number row quick enough to start typing the needed code if it is a number only code.
It got so bad that I normally, if buying a phone with a keyboard, insist the phone supplier provide the keyboard already paired. Now when I try to pair the keyboard I only get around 10 seconds to enter the randomly generated pairing code before the pairing process times out and I'm given an error message saying that the keyboard couldn't be paired. Has anyone else experienced this problem and - if so - did you find a workaround? You may have managed to extend the timeout for example. If this continues then I may have to purchase another keyboard, something with NFC capabilities so perhaps someone might be able to recommend such a board?
