GL "joe" ================================ Samsung Color TV Model TXE2546 Manufactured Mar 1997.� Volume down works fine, but Volume Up does not. Pushing the button will display the volume slide bar but but has not effect on volume. These buttons are also used for menu controls and work fine. You are able to change color, tint, etc with these buttons in the menu.
Check the data lines to/from the mpu and memory ics. Check any diodes and caps connected to those lines going to the audio processor ic.
