Ben,
Sorry, no exact findings, but these may give you a start....HTH GL "joe"

Mits PTV model VS45VA2
problem-This Mits PTV model VS45VA2, has intermittent sync problems. It
seems to be quite sensitive around DL205

On bottom of signal pcb between IC201 & connector Rh, there is white
silicone glue. Remove glue and resolder the component under it.
=================================
Mits vs4543
This set has small black and white lines similar to Venican blinds
floating across the picture vertically .Similar to Jail bars only going
side ways.

Scope the 9 volt line for ripple. If it is there, replace the filter
caps off the regulator. Scope all the power supply and scan supplies for
ripple.
See if this set has a C281 (100mfd/16V). If so, replace it.
=================================
Mitsubishi VS-5062 projection TV
The picture rolls constantly via cable, antenna.and line in inputs.
The menu does not roll.

I found a leaking cap C-526 on the main pcb near the v-height,v-lin and
hv reg pots.

On darker pictures the rolling would stop as when a commercial is fading
out and is worse with a bright picture.
==================================
Mitsubishi vs6087 projection TV with vertical jitter.Twice in the past 6
months the tv has been serviced after the installation of a vertical
jitter kit v14vj. The basic curcuit is not stable and the kit has not
solved the stability problem.

Check if the set has the small plugin pip pcb. If it does change
C-7001 on the pcb and check for damage to the traces from the
electrolyte from that smd cap.
==================================
Mitsubishi VS-5007R projection TV has no vertical deflection. Replaced
Vert-output IC and caps in that circuit, but still no vertical
defection.

Check R540, a 1 ohm resistor off the flyback.Check the supplies to the
vertical ckt. Derived from the FBT, etc. Also check connections to/from
yokes.

(ELECTRONICS PROFESSIONALS LIST)
This unit will roll when you change channels and verticle is unstable
will tear alittle. The menu is stable. Looks like pip is bad but this
doesn't have it. I am sure bad caps but thought someone might have a tip
