   ...and I finally figured out that by lowering the ac line voltage by 
no more than about 20 volts, the situation is worsened greatly. At that 
point, it also gets horizontal lines all across the picture from top to 
bottom. L4101 seems to be where the squeal is coming from, but I have 
replaced it from another chassis (not real smart, but I calculated the 
chances here, and what the hey..) I have wasted a can of freeze spray 
and various other chemicals, and to my shame nothing happened to change 
the situation. Help is needed and appreciated much more than you know.
