Resolder every blasted crimp connector in the entire oven, especially the filament leads to the tube and the transformer connections. Have seen 99% of the intermittent, cant find the problem, ovens fixed this way. HTH Frank Dr. Digital

He has had his hydro checked, outlet checked etc. As a friend I bench tested the unit at my shop and after several tests the unit failed. The unit fails in m/w mode only. This unit will operate most of the time but then will shut down after 2-3 sec's. It appears that as soon as the magnetron is energized the load is refused and the unit stops. All other functions remain normal. Once shut down generally the unit will stay in this fault mode for some time. I suspect noise affecting the microprocessor, I have checked for grounding etc. Anyone have the answer to this one, obviously Panasonic doesn't.
