Make: Zenith
Model: 6S52
Problem- total rebuild required- Replaced all caps, and a couple of
resistors. The main problem was finding dial belt for unit.
I spoke with Eugene Spooner on the phone today & he remarked how he had
repaired one with a VCR belt.
 I had tried several flat belts, round belts, making my own- quite feasible
but getting the exact diameter is a real dog, (email me for info if you are
interested) and just about everything I could think of.
Even bought 2 special "Do it yourself" belt kit from Great Northern. Neither
worked. One size was too thick and the other stretched way too much when it
was cut to the correct thickness.

Finally upon heavily cogitating on Eugene's "Words of Wisdom" (tm)  <G>;

I thought of trying a square belt. Having a limited stock I tried a SCB8.6
from PRB.
VIOLA!!! Success after over a month of trying and failing.
Radio will go out tomorrow. Thanks to all here who tried to assist me.
1 down, 5 more to go!
