Leroy, it sounds to me that you have a regulation problem. No 13" set that I've ever seen has 150 volts on the output of the regulator. I would check each and every component I could find that is associated with the STR30134. And if you expect to get more of the same models in for service then my advice is to bite the bullet and buy a schematic.
