Originally, replaced VBR602. Set played good for 2 weeks. Put the
back on, then it wouldn't come back on. Took the back off again. Found
the HOT (2SC5148) shorted and R607 (.1 ohm/1 watt) on p.s. (G) board open.
Replaced both of these and now, as I bring the voltage up slowly
with the variac, the relay clicks and the meter swings way up on the
amps check.......(i.e., it "bounces" with the click of the relay). I
checked the new HOT....it's still OK (so far).
Anyone know a good Catholic priest or any ideas on which direction to
head on this?
