This was just posted on another list....looks promising, unless the CRT is really bad:

In follow-up to me earlier post on the IK Bypass , another tech had
mentioned this method.

Take three 18K resistors and connect one end of each to the Red , Green and
Blue Cathodes , the solder the other ends all together.

This works perfect , you can see the image come up as the filaments warm up.

Image looks like crap because of the dead green cathode BUT picture is not
flashing....and that is all the customer wanted..

Gentlemen
I have a Sony KV27EXR15 in the shop and it is blinking constantly, have 
adjusted the G2 control but  it lasts a few minuets and starts blinking. 
The CRT has been cleaned at low voltage and was wondering how to do the IK 
MOD as explained in The Speaker. The IC in this model is CXA1313S but I 
don't have a plan for the pin combination.

Could one of you gentlemen help me out with the pin combination for this IC.
