I'll try this one and then give up. I'm going through the bone yard trying to find something that'll keep the grandkids occupied until we get there (Bahamas). This Emerson is ac/dc, so if I can get it going, maybe it'll beat "row, row, row your boat". (and keep Paw-Paw sane).
I took the mode switch apart and it was pretty nasty, cleaned it using an eraser, and sprayed with cleaner, re-assembled and...."voila"...nothing changed.
So, if any of you VCR type people will help the illiterate (when it comes to vcr's), I'll be extremely grateful and even promise not to stop by and visit. Your consideration will be taken into consideration.
