Stuff a 150 Watt light bulb in the B+ line to IHVT ! It will save your transistor and allow you to troubleshoot. Don't leave it on too long as the transistor will overheat with some problems. A dim glow means it might be OK if the picture is up with drawn in sides. Best: Eugene
