Hi Gang, I'm a little embarrased to ask for help on this piece of junk, but since it is one of the very few units I have in the shop to work on at this time,...here goes.
The set has insufficient vertical sweep. I have checked or replaced all the e-caps in the 300 series. I might have missed a couple,...but I don't think so. I also have replaced the Vertical output IC,...but,...NO cigar. Most customers will not pay a decent price to repair a set like this,....but,...since it is on a government contract, I think I can get about $65-75. Already spent too much time on it,....but,....it's better then setting here twittling my fingers. I'm thinking it might be a power supply regulation problem. It has an STR30125 in it, and is only putting out 120 volts, but (+24 scan voltage to vertical output is OK). I'll order one when I'm ready to order semis,..but until then, I was just hoping someone might have a better idea.
