CTC169\Q9V(2SC3298) and Q12V(2SA1306) shorted on conv board\\\\\\\\
RCA\P52732BA\Dead set or pincushion problem\\\PTK169PGB\Replaced HV block\\\\\\\\
RCA \PTK169\*Blue convergence* poor. R7119 burns up. Several parts in the blue
vertical output circuit
had been replaced but did not fix the set.\\\PTK169\Comparing resistance measurements
between the red and
blue circuits in the amplifier stages* Q7031 and Q7032* did not reveal any
problems.\The collector voltage
on Q7032 was running -15V. There was 300K ohms resistance between U7003 pin 6 and
R7119. Found a crack in
the foil pattern from\U7003 pin 6 to the junction of R7118 and R7120 (board locations
13N to
260).\Repairing the cracked foil and replacing R7119 restored normal blue convergence
and the set operated
normally\\\\\
RCA \PTK169\The blue *Convergence* was six inches off of the green\\\PTK169\R7098 was
getting hot.
Resistor R7091* in the base of Q7026* had changed value. Replacing R7091 repaired the
set\\\\\\\\
RCA\CTC169\CONVERGENCE BAD & CORRECTION CONTROLS HAVE NO EFFECT\\\\REPLACE Q8132
