Forgot to add that Convergence menu works fine and it will Converge ok and
can adjust fine. Just has bow in top and bottom with the vert retrace type
of line intermittently pulling up about 4" from bottom and once in awhile
entire picture will go out (all 3 CRTs go dark) then will come back on in a
few seconds.

Hi Fellow Techs,
I'm working on Mitsubishi VS-50VA1 PTV (VZ-1 Chassis) which has a
consistent
slight bow in the top & bottom of the picture (pincushion) and has a line
pulling up about 4" from bottom of picture intermittently this line will
appear and disappear, best way to describe line is like a vert retrace line
but a little different because it affects pincushion as it pulls up screen
intermittently about 4" from bottom. Even when line disappears the bow at
top/bottom is always there. I replaced both STK391-020 Convergence IC's and
checked all resistors related to IC's (none smoked - all ok) checked many
caps and reworked all CSJ's (Cold solder connections) I even checked C7001
and C7036 on PIP module. Sometimes the entire picture will go out and come
back in. Set was moved from Texas to N. Carolina and customer stated
problem
started after move. I'm lost on this set. I've checked my
WinsTips/ESD/Intrepid/TechAssist&archives/Goggle_search tips & more
databases, I'm stumped! Any Help!!
