Joe, You really need to learn to get more information from the customer. Compresses which direction? Does it happen right away, after set warms up, is it extremely intermittent? Toshiba ptv tp48e60 approx 8 yrs. intermittently pix compresses according to cust. I have a service call on the above unit next week 05/05/04. Does the above unit have a litebox that I can bring into shop? Also this unit does have pix in pix which I know has caused allot of problems in the Mitsubishi PTVs and theres a bypass process you can use on them.. any tips, such as electrolytic location #s.. or if I remember, which is doubtful....... on the main pc board there is a stand up board next to the flyback part of the pin amp circuit. Am i correct on this and it develops bad pc connects...???
