Seems to me in the older Philips/Magnavox set there was a coil/control
that needed peaking in the IF/RF section. The section with the shielded
area.
This was when the signal drifted off frequency shortly after the
Channel was changed, about 2 or 3 seconds. I don't do many
Philips/Magnavox, but I can check may database, although it may not be
under the same Model #.

Subject: [Techs] Magnavox FP4640 W104....PTV710-AH01...Tuner trouble?
Replaced the tuner with one from Tip-Top and still having the same
trouble. I can wiggle the VCO coil (L204) and the pic gets all "screwy".
Now, I am suspecting maybe the tuner was good to start with. Does anyone
have a schematic with just the tuner and surrounding area? My rebuilder
wants over $400.00 to re-build this thing. Any help is appreciated,
because I am about ready to throw in the towel on this one!
Someone please answer!
