Probably old news to many people on this list, but a few folks (like me)
might be unaware. To sum it up in Linus' words:
"Dump may work fine for you a thousand times. But it _will_ fail under
the right circumstances. And there is nothing you can do about it."
Not the kind of thing you want to hear about your backup system.
