I've been hopping around reading bits of Norman Walsh's _DocBook: The Definitive Guide_ (available online through the http://www.docbook.org site), and found this ultra-handy little bit of information -- http://www.docbook.org/tdg/html/ch02.html#MAKING-REFENTRY If you're interested in helping out with the man page project (http://www.oswg.org/docs/projects/manlist.html), it would be ideal if you could submit your entries in this docbook format. We can turn them into various other formats from there. On the other hand, if you don't want to mess around with markup of any sort, feel free to submit your man pages in ASCII. We'll find folks to do the markup. Ideally, of course, you'll take the time to mark it up yourself, but we understand that some folks don't have time to learn DocBook, etc. The reference shown above should make it quite simple, however...there is a full example of what a reference/man page will look like when marked up with docbook, and you should be able to just more-or-less copy that example. Norman's book should be available on store shelves on Oct 29th. I'm _definitely_ going to pick up a copy. - deb -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED]
